		<description>The "bodyguard" industry has changed drastically over the years; even in the last couple of years.

In the past private security companies used to work behind the scene. We are now in the world stage, example: Iraq, and the spotlight is on the industry and the on the individuals providing the service.

Private Security companies have to pick up the slack (and they get paid well for doing it) because the military does NOT have the man power to do it themselves.

The big husky bodyguard is still around, but there is a lot more training that one goes through to do this job then in the past.

You want average looking guys on your protection detail because they will blend it; they won't stick out like a sore thumb.
