My father who served in the British army in the India/Burma theatre had a pretty poor opinion of the white Imperial troop and thought them all lazy, racist, and cowardly but he thought the Americans were pretty upstanding so he immigrated to the US in 1947. Most of the time the reason why we lost is because we were either out-numbered in men AND material, for example: Stalingrad, Kursk, D-Day, and El Almein. If we Germans hadn't allowed the TRUE bonehead of Adolph Hitler to take command of the German Armies, the Allies would probably be singing a different tune right now!
