How much can one buy one of those jet engines for nowadays? And how did they build them for $3.00, even in 1946 dollors? I saw something similar in an old, used balsa wood model book I bought as a kid and when I asked my dad where I could get one he said no such thing exists. This was some 20 years ago. Seems as if anything like that made today is much more expensive. Very cool.
