My favorite dictation moment is from "Blazing Saddles." Bad Guy 1: "Send a wire to the main office. Tell them I said [gets hit on head] Ow!" Bad Guy 2: (writing) "Send wire, main office, tell them I said 'ow'. Gotcha." I think this is for court stenography or meeting minutes, as opposed to the ‘take a letter’ type of dictation.
