I&#039;ve used radios and amps with tube well over 50 years old. It&#039;s the capacitors you have to watch for as they age. 

&quot;Change them all at once&quot; is odd advice. I wonder if they meant that to apply to serial-wired tubes, where the heaters were all matched to the same amperage.</description>
