Cory, you really need to stay in your territory – tech and culture is cool, but guns seem to make you hyperventilate. My friends and I all had cap guns similiar to this one when we were growing up, and none of us lost an eye or hearing due to one, nor did anyone we knew. Swimming pools and car accidents kill or injure orders of orders of magnitude more children than capguns do, so why do you waste outrage on this? Get a grip.

Lastly, (as if anyone cares) this pistol is likely a copy of the FN Browning m.1900 or m.1903, neither of which were in .45 caliber. The FN Herstal logo on the original pistols is even in the same spot as the “G-Boy” on the cap pistol. It’s likely the cap pistol is a European import.

For what it’s worth, the “G-Boy” name probably stems from “G-Man”, the term for a government agent or FBI man, and therefore your “sexism” snark – while pitiably reflexive – is misplaced. Just because a term contains gender-oriented elements doesn’t make it automatically “sexist”. “Troglodytes”, indeed. Hmph.

Lastly, the capgun doesn’t resemble any pistol issued to the US .gov; rather, it looks like a copy of the FN Browning m.1900 or m.1903 (neither of which is a .45). This leads me to believe that the cap pistol is an import of some kind, as it doesn’t resemble any widely known US pistol.
