Overnight stops included Honolulu, Midway, Wake Island, and Guam. If you add the seventh day to get across the US, Capt Rickenbacker is right on in his estimates (though even this forward-looking pilot and founder of Eastern Air Lines couldn't predict that in less than 10 years the time would be cut in half.)
