Bill: Oh, please….. This is pointless because even though all this “Truther” crap has been refuted time and time again it keeps coming up. It’s part and parcel with “Birthers”, Moon Hoaxers and the like.

You definitely have to be smoking something to buy into that. I dunno, maybe you were swayed by the arguments of that brilliant physicist Rosie O’Donnell?

Thanks so much for posting this.

I just hope people will realize that this stuff still goes on today.

Fox News is a perfect example of a modern incarnation of such corrupt reporting.

Just look what they’ve managed to do with 9/11.
Possibly the most obvious cover-up the modern world has ever witnessed and not only does the media not investigate and report on it, they even ridicule those who do.

They’ve actually managed to inject a stigma into American culture that makes it unpatriotic to question the official story presented to us by politicians.
We’re supposed to completely forget about the past and personify unwavering trust in politicians on this particular subject, even though all signs point to a cover-up and it’s our patriotic duty to question such things.

It’s insane, and it’s happening right here and now.

The only reason drugs are illegal is so the government can arrest people for them and try and take people’s stuff to auction off and fund their stupid drug war.To quote Perry Ferrell”The gangs and the government are no different”.I know lots of potheads who are fully functional and contributing members of society.I think people like Zak Lybrand are stupid for suggesting that the fact that marijuana exists causes crime.The fact that man has made it illegal is the only reason that it causes crime.Laws are not always beneficial to mankind.Some are in fact very detrimental because they are fueled by greed and commerce instead of safety.The prison industry is a very large industry in America and it is heavily funded by drug arrests because they are the biggest part of the prison population.

This article alone must have massively popularized hard drugs, just like the Reagan era DARE program was shown to *increase* drug use. Once the government came down hard on pot, with blatant lies, kids and college kids especially, having already known that pot made them safer drivers and left no hangover etc. and was easier to get than beer (it was when *I* was a kid in the 70s-80s), the same kids stopped believing that cocaine and speed were bad for you either. Thus the cocaine boom, and then just like Prohibition created “hard” liquor, the Drug War effort created “crack” cocaine which was much easier to smuggle and hide, and was much more addictive due to its potency. It also created a heroin alternative called fentanyl that is still popular, but is easier to OD on, given that its not regulated, and is 1000 times as powerful as heroin. It’s easy to make too, as in a billion dollar batches at a time, in your semi-high-tech basement. Then, the government stuck LSD into Schedule I (”narcotics” of no medical or psychotherapeutic use). Then they added mandatory minimum sentencing that both police and judges croaked since they had to start releasing parolable violent criminals early to make space for the non-parolable drug users and small pushers. What’s next to outlaw? Brain implants that let you dial up any drug type of experience (as you hop around in Third Life).
