$15,000 Auto: good things may come in small packages—but they also seem to come at high prices. This little Ferrari has a 12-cylinder motor which develops 140 hp. It’s the first of its kind to be imported from Milan, Italy.
This car was hugely expensive in ’49 and it’s worth millions today! Note that it was primarily a high strung high performance race car despite the white wall tires! Consider 140HP from only 2 litres (122CI) with 12 tiny cylinders.
