I totally endorse the article, I am one of the beneficiaries of Glutamic Acid tablet. When I was a student doing my final years in High School as well as in Higher Secondary (pre-graduation), I was a below average student, I passed out the annual exams every year by a whisker. Whatever I study never get into my mind. I memory was very poor. After getting low marks in Higher Secondary I had no chance to get into some good college or to some good courses. Then I happened to meet my dad's friend who is a doctor, he prescribed me Tab.Glutamic Acid to be taken once a day. Meanwhile I joined a Polytechnic to pursue Diploma in Electronics and Communication. The portions were huge and tough. After I have started to take the Glutamic Acid Tablet, I saw the difference in my studies. If I read or study twice a page or two or more, I can write every thing without missing a single word in the lesson, so it was useful for me very much. I took it for nearly three years, till I completed my course, I came out with very good marks. And when I tried for job and wrote exams I was able to got selected for two jobs at a time and attended interviews for three more jobs. Finally I joined a the best job. Now my daughter is also below average and I am searching for the Tablet in India, but in vain. So i am a witness for the power of Glutamic Acid.

yes, NAC now acknowledged as beneficial on net. N acetyl cysteine--an amino acid that provides a more direct source of glutamaic acid than glautamine, another amino acid.
And if you would like to read there is a wonderful biography of R Feynmann & how his father 'created' his intelligence. About the same time as the above the woman who now writes a column Ask Marilyn (vos savant) was not yet born and her father called a press conference to announce he would create a genius. It was reported she was a difficult child.

The fact is that the body, well nourished and fed essential and convertible forms of minerals can make all the vitamins except B12. We knew all there was to know about health between the two world wars and put it all on the shelf to convert war cemical companies to pharmaceutical industries of which you and I support (heavily) today.

I was born in 1946.

Thanks for sharing your experiences regarding this trial.I really appreciate the efforts you have made for this article.IQ tests are very different from quizzes and exams — there's no use staying up all night and cramming. That's because these exercises are designed to assess our raw smarts by measuring how well our brains process information.Taking pills for this increase the blood circulation to your brain as well as provide nourishment to your brain and antioxidant protection over that month

As an aside, I love the use of the car as a metaphor for the working of the brain. Another example of man's eternal need to make metaphors for the brain of the shiniest most revolutionary technology of the age -- from clockwork to computers -- no matter how inapropriate the metaphor is.

Funny, even though MSG or monosodium glutamate is a sodium form of glutamic acid, I don't feel smarter after eating at a Chinese restaurant.
