The device came with a cable release attached to a very conventional looking firearms trigger. It's a sad commentary of today's social climate. I can't imagine anyone being naive enough to use one. That's too bad really. The device really worked. One was able to use a 300mm lens on a 35mm camera without the inconvenience of a mono or tripod.
