I’m a little late to this article. Jack Dempsey is right that humans are still smarter than robots. But what is he talking about? There were no boxing robots then, and are none now. But if there were there are no limits as to the strength and weight of a robot that could be built. It would be like an unarmed man trying to fight a tank. Also who wants to hit steel with their fist?

There was a twilight zone episode where a washed up boxer pretended to be a robot so he could box in the robot league. He didn’t do so well.
