A NEW beauty machine that gently pats cosmetics into the skin as advised by beauty and skin specialists has been brought out by a Connecticut manufacturer. The device is equipped with a cord for connection to light socket

    I have a 1923 vibrator and pamphlet that has a similar image and recommendations for the treatment of ‘pelvic congestion’…

  5. Yep: she uses the vibrator to “pat makeup into her skin”, the Lysol to “stop being grouchy to her husband”, the Midol so she has a “fresh and bright countenance”, etc., etc.

    You have to love old ads: what isn’t said is sometimes more important than what is.
