SEVEN BOYS PLAY BIG HARMONICA
Seven boys are needed to play a huge harmonica recently demonstrated at Detroit, Mich., and which is declared to be the largest of its kind in the world. It measures eight feet in length, giving sufficient space for each performer to render the part assigned to him in music orchestrated especially for the big instrument. There are 770 notes in all on the scale of the gigantic mouth organ.
And this is where scout masters got the wrong idea about the boys blowing.

Yuck, I hope there is some sort of barrier between the sets of notes for the different mouths. Didn’t this seem strange even back then?

Man I would do anything for that big Harmonica ! Well not anything but I really want one any idea of how much Hohner would charge ? I am a good customer of Hohner… Ok one woman could rid all of their Blues !!!!
