And yet, we are rapidly approaching 300 million today. That means, that while it took about 200 years for this country to reach 200 million, it will take less than 50 years to increase the population by ONE THIRD, with unknown effects on the environment. And yet, as a society, we're trying our best to ignore the issue of immigration... Bizarre. Notice the US population was less than 200 million back then.
