Williams, a "friend and one-time co-worker" of Beebe's. Beebe only appears here tangentially. I read this rather eagerly when I saw your intro focused on Beebe. My grandmother, Isabel Cooper, worked for some years in the 1920s as an expedition artist for Beebe, spending a far amount of time at the Kartabo station. The explorer is actually a Dr. S.H.
