Hat Is Latest in Cigarette Cases
AN “ammunition” hat designed with tuck in which are inserted twenty cigarettes, is proclaimed by stylists as the latest fad for co-eds. Wearing this hat, shown in the photo at right, the co-ed needs no longer go through the awkward motions of searching through a hand bag for her fags. All she has to do is to reach up and pluck one from her hat.
The cigarettes are arranged to appear like ornaments on the hat. The slots which hold the fags are made extremely rigid so as to prevent breaking.
This article wins both the Most Ridiculous Idea award and the Most Unintended Double Entendres After 76 Years award.
Wherever ‘milady’ lives, it apparently doesn’t rain.

I think we should bring back fag as slang fag a cigarette. We could have designated fag areas, businesses could advertised as fag free. the mind boggles.

I tried holding a fag with an extremely rigid slot once but I was young, in college, experimenting…

Why stop at hats, the same system applied to underwear would bring a whole new meaning the term bum a fag

I’ve always called ciggies ‘fags’. Actually that’s a lie, I call them ciggies as well.
One term used in this locale (at least in my youth) was to ‘bum a fag’ i.e. beg or borrow a fag of one’s mate.
