Burnelli type aircraft should be our present day mode of transport, multi thousands, possible millions of lives could have been saved if it hadn't been for a presidential fit of temper in 1941. One episode of "WKRP" had newsman Les Nessman barred from the football (or was it some other sport?) locker room because someone called him a "queer little guy". It was also slang for 'counterfeit'.
