A few corrections. Red Hill, Sr. never went over Niagara Falls as reported. He was a renowned river man and received many awards for his bravery. However, he successfully navigated the lower rapids of the Niagara River (Class 6 whitewater!) in the metal contraption shown above. His son attempted to 'go over the Falls' in the 1950's. He died making the attempt. Also Niagara Falls, AKA the Horseshoe Falls are not 196 tall. Most reliable sources say 185 feet is a more accurate height measurement.
