		<description>Gyros have always interested me. Can I assume that the take-off distance/speed is less than a conventional glider? If so, I guess that also means staying aloft is more difficult than with a fixed-wing glider. Maybe that&#039;s why this idea didn&#039;t &quot;take off.&quot;</description>
