  2. The only thing missing from this is another stick figure with a whip beating the one rolling the stone. Then it will an accurate representation of my job.

  3. My father worked for the Seattle Public Library, and I remember seeing one of these on the desk of one of his co-workers. It must have been sometime in the early 1980s, and it was clearly meant in the tongue-in-cheek spirit that inspired the demotivator posters. I suppose nowadays we’d see it as another manifestation of The Dilbert Effect, where humor diffuses actual dissent and prevents problems from actually being solved.
