Loom Makes Crippled Children Happy

LIFE will be a lot pleasanter for crippled children, thanks to the bed loom shown here, the invention of Margaret Greave, of the Riley Hospital for Crippled Children, in Indianapolis. Miss Greave is shown teaching a young patient how to operate the loom. With it, Miss Greave won the first place award of the National Association of Occupational Therapists for the outstanding contribution of the year.

“I may be dying in a slow and painful way, but at least I can operate a loom!”
