The talk about plant hybrids was interesting -- plants hybridize much more easily than animals.
Wheat is a very strange hybrid with triplicate pairs of chromosomes, an amalgamation of three grass species.  And of course corn is a mutant grass that originally didn&#039;t look much different from rye or wheat.  But the oversized apples were a Tinsley touch there.
