		<description>The aerocartograph shown is anything but automatic. An experienced operator might be able to use one 20 minutes out of an hour - the eyestrain is overwhelming otherwise. 

That said, I was involved in a conceptual project in the 80&#039;s that involved using LANDSAT IV images and sofeware to &#039;strip away&#039; vegetation, etc, and look for certain patterns of geography. A guy in a Jeep (no burros were available) &quot;trained&quot; the system to find spots with a high likelyhood of having heavy and heavyish metals (gold, tin, uranium, etc.)</description>
