What is it, a floor cleaner AND a douche?
Maybe a drain opener or a creosote dissolver for your chimney?

I think we already discussed it – suffice to say that the main ingredient in Zonite can be an antiseptic if used within 48 hours of preparation. Zonite, however, would have sat on the druggist’s shelf for weeks before use.
And for those just tuning in: yes, this was mainly used for yeast infections, and rarely for (ineffective) contraception.

Charlene: That was part of the early controversy in medical circles. As you say, it was allegedly a weak solution of chlorine bleach but the shelf life thing cast doubt on that.
That said, at the links I provided you can see it was also recommended for use against bad breath, dandruff, athlete’s foot and so on.
