Jeweled Auto, World’s Costliest, Owned by Persian Shah
THE world’s most expensive car is valued at $125,000 and is owned by the great Shah of Persia. Finished in silver and upholstered in blue leather, this costly machine has hub caps, instrument panel and shift lever knob inlaid with diamonds and other precious stones, making the car the world’s greatest motor investment.
When the car is placed on display it is constantly guarded by a detail of picked soldiers and detectives, and with good reason, for the car proves a great temptation to clever thieves. A strong guard of mounted police also accompany the Shah whenever he takes a ride in his car to guard against the bandits which infest the highways.
I’ed think getting a decent shot going at speed would be impossible...
I’d sure like to follow that car on a bumpy road!

It was a custom built body for a Peirce Arrow designed by George Woodfield and built by Brunn & Company of Buffalo NY.
