In Canada, Bell just got fined for hiring telemarketers that not only broke the anti-telemarketing laws, but also have been swearing at people and in at least one case, threatening to kill someone they called.

Back in the days when “Ma Bell” was considered nice and had an absolute monopoly.

This is certainly better than “We’re the Phone Company, we don’t care, we don’t have to”
