AMF nuclear engineering brings you advanced. ..RADIATION PROCESS EQUIPMENT

The mass-irradiation of foodstuffs for the prevention of spoilage and infestation is one of the most exciting and promising applications of atomic energy.

And AMF Atomics is in the forefront of the field, applying its nuclear engineering skills and experience to the development of practical irradiation equipment to serve food processors throughout the nation.

AMF Atomics introduced the first conceptual designs for low-dose irradiation equipment, and is currently playing an important role in the Army Quartermaster Corps’ bulk-food irradiation program.

AMF equipment now being developed includes a mobile bulk food irradiator, a portable irradiator for university and industrial use in experimental genetics and food preservation, and a low-level “bench” irradiator for laboratory studies in agricultural, chemical, pharmaceutical, and medical fields of irradiation.

AMF Atomics will be glad to assist you in your irradiation program … from process evaluation, through equipment design and manufacture, to complete program management. Let us know of your plans or interests. Perhaps we can help you.

Heh, I was glow-bowling in the local alley with the friends just last weekend. They’ll need to invest for new shoes, as I got ones that had holes…..

“Yes, this is the same company that owns your local bowling alley.”

And that also owned Harley Davidson Motorcycles for a time, leading to a drop in overall product quality.
