Ash Tray Breathes (Dec, 1947)

Ash Tray Breathes and inhales the smoke that usually drifts over into a non-smoker’s eye. It draws all smoke down into the stand and keeps the room free of fumes, too. Penny Martin, of Los Angeles, is shown using this new and welcome invention. It operates electrically, uses house current.

I always had a no-smoking rule back in the days I was dating, but she is clearly an exception.

Yah, she looks like the femme fatale in a 1940s noir-style detective flic … walking into the detective’s office to ask him to find her husband. Of course we know she’s not on the level. Cheers — MrG / http://www.vectorsite.n…

I was thinking further about Ms. Penny Martin … take one look at her and you know EXACTLY the way she walks. You don’t want to think about it too long but it’s really hard to stop. Cheers — MrG http://www.vectorsite.n…

She reminds me of Gloria Grahame (Violet Bick) in “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

“Why, this old thing? I only wear it when I don’t care HOW I look!”

Aren’t there any nerds left? How much power does it consume, what type of filter does it have, how many cubic feet of air does it process per hour, how fine is the filter, do they have different sizes, how long is the warranty, can I get a better picture without that lady blocking my view?
