    A couple of decades earlier and the add would have shown the “scientist” with a stylish pipe sticking out of his mouth. And a chemistry course that is “very thorough” yet “easy for all” and with “very little theory”. One wonders what the “graduates” of this school would have been able to do with their free labs, anyway.

    Man, that brings back memories. I had one of these sets when I was a kid. I played with it for years, and I believe that it stimulated my imagination and led me into teaching science. Too bad we are so politically correct now days.

    No but we are offering calendars to let you know that it’s now 2009 and not 1955.

    You really should master that before you start mixing chemicals.
