Moving again

I’m moving this week to Portland, OR and I’m not sure I’m going to get a chance to post much.

Updates to the site will be probably be sporadic or entirely absent until I get up and running again next week.

Good luck with the move. Quite a long distance from NYC, both in mileage and culture.

Seems like you just moved to NY not too long ago!
Welcome to the Pacific North West!

Welcome to my hometown stompin’ grounds! Big fan of the postings, retweeted them a few times. Thanks for your work!

I hope the move goes well! (I hate moving; my next move will be into the morgue — or done by pros when I win the Lottery! ;^)

Don, your move to the morgue will also be handled by pros. :)

Charlie, I hope your move goes smoothly and that you do well in your new location. Moving this week and up and running next week already? You must have an extremely streamlined lifestyle! :)

Of course his lifestyle is streamlined, trimmed in shining stainless steel and powered by the miracle of the atom.

Oh wait, that’s just the articles!

Rick, I hope so. Neil, he’s probably wealthy now, from dealing in red mercury . . . .

Don, forgot about his foray in Red Mercury dealing :)
I had a red Mercury but swapped it for a white Crown Vic. So far no international baddies are interested in it.

Neil: You drive a cop car? You ought to have enough room in that to install a small nuke system.

Thanks everyone, I got here in one piece but it’s taking me a bit longer to get my crap together :) Still looking fror a place but loving Portland.

Things seem to be settling down so I should be posting again soon.

strangeways: I hadn’t seen that place but I will check it out!

Oh and to satisfy all of your curiosity, I actually make big money selling red mercury in India and the Middle east via my extensive network of swingers, stammerers and chinchilla’s rights advocates. You thought all those posts were real? It’s all in code.

Portland, where I live (actually Beaverton), is, in the broadest possible measurement, the best city in this country. Welcome aboard.

Great to hear! I’m moving there too at the end of the month. When I eventually land some awesome job at a rare book library or archive, I’ll have to do some scoping for you…

    Awesome, welcome to Portland!

Well, heck! You’re just getting closer and closer! ;-)

I live in Southern Oregon. If you are heading down, let me know and I’ll treat you to a pint of local beer or some good wine. It’s the least I can do in thanks for Modern Mechanix, which I enjoy immensely! :)
