Dolls Delight Grown-ups, Too (Dec, 1950)

When I first looked at the doll on the second page I thought that the basket was actually inside her chest cavity, which at least made the article seem a little grotesque. Alas, it is simply a 10 page article about collecting dolls. Please try to contain your excitement.

Little girls in New York City who are too busy raising a family of dolls to think of washing all their dolls’ clothes can now send them out. A commercial laundry furnishes a tiny laundry bag and a special doll laundry slip for the child to list doll clothes sent out and check them when they are returned along with the family wash.

latest novelties. The one shown below has a doll’s head and body, and the muff part forms the skirt. It was displayed at the recent New York exhibition given by the Toy Manufacturers of the U.S.A.
