Combination Stool and Dryer Saves Steps for Housewife

AN EXTREMELY convenient and serviceable device to have around the kitchen or wash house is the combination clothes dryer and kitchen stool, shown at the right. It serves ordinarily as a stool, but when it is desired to utilize it as dryer, the metal rods are pulled up through the holes in the seat and locked in place so that they stand out horizontally. When not in use the rods in no way interfere with the comfort of the seat.

The stool is made of metal, with a wide spread of the legs to prevent tipping. Many tiresome steps can be saved by the use of this stool-dryer, and much-needed space can often be conserved.

  1. “When not in use the rods in no way interfere with the comfort of the seat.” Yes, I would hope that would be the case! Otherwise, not a bad idea for the time.
